We want to make sure you have everything you need for the elections this fall. Here are some helpful links for you:
* Check your registration status. Visit the N.C. State Board of Elections website to ensure that your registration is up to date and accurate, especially if youve moved or changed your name since last voting. (You can update your registration at an early voting location in your county).
* Miss the deadline to register? Use same-day registration during early voting. In North Carolina, you can register and vote during Early Voting, which begins 19 days before a districts Election Day. (Note: you CANNOT register on Election Day.) N.C. Election Connection has information about same day registration, including what youll need to bring to register during early voting. You MUST vote immediately at the early voting location when you use this method to register or update your information.
* Find your polling place. You can check your polling place on the N.C. State Board of Elections website.
Please mark your calendars for your districts Election Day. To find out when your district votes, click HERE.
Some districts will vote Oct. 8, some Nov. 5, and some vote both dates, or you could hit the polls sooner during Early Voting (beginning Sept. 19 for the Oct. 8 election and Oct. 17 for the Nov. 5 election).
Please share this information with your friends and family and urge them to vote, too!
